Guild Wars 2 combat system is flexible, fast-paced, and dynamic. GW2 combat style is not like old MMO that u only stand still, but depend on timing, dodging and quick thinking. required moving, avoiding attack, skill combo, chain skill and swapping weapon. more details here

there are 9 main dungeon in GW2. each have their own story mode. it is an optional party-base player vs environment (PvE) instances. beside the 9 dungeon, there also several special event dungeon. there also 1 special type dungeon called "Fractal of the Mist" that consist of an array of mini-dungeon. each mini-dungeon have their own special story and environment.

A dynamic event in GW2, are responded in how player interact with it. many event like "The Living World' give permanent effect on the game. it changes landscape and the game world. more here

When you create your character, the choice you make on race and profession will determine your story and which starting area you will begin. the moment you create, your tale / story begin. you will have your own biography as your progress the personal story.

it has 10-step process guiding for player to go through the creation of a new character. during this process, you also need to answering five separate multiple-choice question that will influence and create your personal biography (background of your character). after finish creating your new character, your will go into a cinematic base on what you have choose.

Guild wars 2 current currency are Gold, Silver and Copper. Gw2 also use another type of currency that are called Gem that can be use in Trading Post (in-game trade broker where player can buy and sell items).

Gw2 armor provide defense, attribute bonuses (can be modify / upgraded using Rune) , change character appearance and it can be dye, with range selection of dyes. Gw2 armor divided into three armor classes, light armor, medium armor and heavy armor. Gw2 have a new release armor in January 2014, that is an ascended armor. Gw2 also have a large variety of weapons type, different look and stat. Armor and weapon divided into 7 type of quality name, which is Basic, Fine, Masterwork, Rare, Exotic, Ascended & Legendary. Beside armor, Gw2 have a large variety of skin types (Armor, Weapon & Back item) for you to choose and customize your look.
